during month 7...

Zac will be 8 months old tomorrow but during the last month he last discovered so many thing! He now has his first tooth - which just popped up within the last week or so; he is scooting and lunging and is starting to figure out crawling, but thankfully this needs a little more practice before it's full-fledged crawls! Eating is going well and we have started eating little rice puffs.

Since it will still be another couple of weeks before we move into our new house, we have been living with YiaYia and Papou and having lots of fun, although its a tad crowded in mommy and uncle paul's old rooms.

As soon as we move into our house we'll post new pictures!

6th month stats

Zac had his 6-month check up recently and is now 19lbs and 29inches! He's starting to pull himself up from a sitting position so the crib mattress is going to be lowered soon... lots of talking, spitting, and putting things in his mouth! He also finds the doggies hilarious and tries to give them kisses when mommy's not looking.

we've been busy!

Zachary is now 5 1/2 months old and learning new things everyday! This month he has started eating baby food twice a day, sleeps much better because of it, and is evening learning to sit up on his own. We still need a little practice at it since he tends to take a spill after a few minutes but every day he can sit up a little bit longer!

In the last month Zac had his baptism, got to see cousins from Alabama, visited the Zoo for the first time, and went to two weddings in the same weekend.

4 month update

Well, Zachary is almost 5 months! But at our 4 month appointment, our growing little guy was already 16.7 lbs! He is apparently in the 100+ percentile for height so we're thinking we have a little basketball player on our hands... :)

2 month update

sorry it has been a bit since our last update...! Zachary is just over two months old now; at our 2 month doctors appointment he weighed in at 14lbs, 1oz, and is 25 1/2 inches... he's so big! If he keeps this up, he will definitely be taller than daddy! He's making attempts at rolling over and sitting up all by himself as well!

visit from uncle paul

Zac got to meet uncle pauly for the first time! Paul was able to visit for the weekend and was at church with us for Zachary's 40 day blessing (pics on my parent's camera...). We had a few lessons on how to hold baby but we know Paul will be the coolest uncle ever and have plenty of time to get the hang of baby sitting this summer!

one month old

Zachary has hit his first month milestone and is getting to be such a big boy! He is right on track with gaining weight and has the pudgy cheeks and neck to prove it. In the last few weeks we've had a visit from great-grandmother and uncle jerry & aunt paula from TX; we had an adorable photo session with Erin Benner; and daddy left for a European tour with the orchestra for 2 weeks leaving us to fend for ourselves (with the help of yiayia and papou)!
