first dr appointment

Zachary had his first real outing this past Sunday! After a number of diaper changes right when we planned to leave, we were only 1 hour late for the first time out. We made it to Aunt Popie and Uncle Steve's house and had a fun time with the family for Yiayia's Birthday.

Yesterday, we managed to leave exactly on time for Zac's first doctors appointment and made it to the clinic with 5 minutes to spare (we were so proud!). Everything checks out perfectly and he's already up to 8 lbs!

Zachary Alexander showed up right on his due date! February 1st, 2009. He weighed 7 lbs 14 ounces and is 22 inches long! He's going to be tall just like his daddy... We're all doing well at home and adjusting to our new life together. Jonathan and I are a little sleep deprived at the moment, but our 2nd night at home was already much easier than night #1. We'll be posting pictures and updates on the blog whenever we have a chance so don't forget to check it!
